A highly collectible Rolex Daytona reference 6265 in stainless steel, featuring a black dial, manual-winding calibre 727, and accompanied by its original guarantee paper, service papers, receipts, box, and outer packaging.
Offered here is a highly desirable Rolex Daytona, reference 6265, one of the most iconic and enduring manual-winding chronograph references in the history of Rolex sports watches. Produced during the golden era of vintage Daytona collecting, the reference 6265 is celebrated for its robust stainless steel construction, screw-down pushers, and pure tool-watch character, all combined with the unmistakable proportions that have made these watches so sought after by collectors worldwide.
This example is fitted with a classic black dial, a configuration that gives the watch a purposeful and timeless appearance while highlighting the balanced tri-compax layout for which the model is known. The reference 6265 represents one of the last and most refined generations of manually wound Daytona production, preserving the charm of earlier models while offering the improved durability and functionality that define the later references.
Inside is the revered manual-winding Rolex calibre 727, a movement closely associated with the most collectible vintage Daytonas and valued for both its performance and historical significance. The present watch is further enhanced by its accompanying original guarantee paper dated June 23, 1976, along with service papers, receipts, presentation box, and outer packaging, adding important completeness and collector appeal to an already highly desirable reference.
For collectors seeking a strong and emblematic vintage Daytona, the reference 6265 remains one of the essential references within the Rolex chronograph lineage, combining heritage, rarity, and enduring market significance in one of the most recognizable wristwatches ever made.
