A landmark Breguet Tradition reference 7027BA/11/9V6 in 18k yellow gold, featuring the signature exposed movement architecture, off-center guilloché dial, and full set from 2020.
Offered here is a highly important Breguet Tradition, reference 7027BA/11/9V6, one of the defining modern creations of the maison and a watch widely celebrated for reconnecting contemporary wristwatch design with the historical spirit of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s subscription and tact watches. Introduced in the mid-2000s, the Tradition line immediately distinguished itself by placing the movement architecture front and center, transforming technical watchmaking into the visual focus of the dial.
This example is crafted in 18k yellow gold and displays all the elements that have made the Tradition 7027 such a landmark reference. The openworked front reveals the gear train, bridges, ruby-set architecture, and balance assembly directly on the dial side, creating a striking mechanical display while remaining unmistakably rooted in classical Breguet aesthetics. At 12 o’clock sits the off-center silvered guilloché subdial with Roman numerals and blued Breguet hands, while the visible pare-chute shock protection system provides an especially meaningful historical link to one of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s most important technical inventions.
The 37 mm case, with fluted case band and straight lugs, gives the watch elegant and historically faithful proportions, while the manually wound calibre 507DR offers a beautifully considered movement layout and approximately 50 hours of power reserve. Offered as a full set from 2020, this Tradition is an outstanding opportunity to acquire one of the most intellectually and visually compelling watches of modern high horology.
