Rolex Ref. 3265 “Moneta” – Steel, Pink Dial, D. Vasić Zagreb, Circa 1937

Sale price$20,000.00

A rare and highly appealing Rolex reference 3265 in stainless steel, featuring a warm pink dial, small seconds, Moneta-style case, and scarce double-signed D. Vasić Zagreb retailer signature.

A rare and sought-after Rolex reference 3265, dating to circa 1937, and distinguished by its elegant Moneta-style case and exceptionally attractive pink-toned dial. Produced in relatively small numbers, this reference is appreciated today for its restrained proportions, refined pre-war aesthetic, and the quiet individuality that defines the most appealing early Rolex dress watches.

The defining feature of the watch is its beautifully aged pink dial, whose warm tone gives the piece a particularly soft and sophisticated presence. The layout balances Roman numeralswith slender applied baton markers, while the small seconds register at 6 o’clock adds symmetry and depth. Especially notable is the double-signed retailer dial, printed D. Vasić Zagreb beneath the Rolex signature — a highly uncommon detail that adds genuine historical interest and collector appeal. Regional retailer signatures are always important in vintage watch collecting, and examples from Croatian retailers are especially scarce.

Housed in a clean 32.5 mm stainless steel case, the reference 3265 embodies the discreet elegance of 1930s Rolex production. Combined with its unusual dial tone, signed retailer provenance, and classic manual-winding movement, this example stands out as both a refined vintage wristwatch and a highly collectible early Rolex.
