A highly attractive Grönefeld 1941 Principia Automatic in stainless steel, featuring a solid sterling silver frosted salmon dial, blued hands, sculpted scalloped lugs, and full set presentation.
Offered here is the Grönefeld 1941 Principia Automatic, a refined and highly regarded creation from independent Dutch watchmakers Bart and Tim Grönefeld, known among collectors as “The Horological Brothers.” Celebrated for their dedication to traditional hand-finishing and inventive movement architecture, the brothers have established themselves as one of the most respected names in contemporary independent watchmaking.
This example is especially appealing for its beautiful salmon dial, executed in solid sterling silver with a frosted multi-layered finish that gives the watch warmth, depth, and exceptional visual nuance. The dial is paired with elegant blued hands, creating a striking contrast that enhances both legibility and sophistication. The overall presentation is understated yet highly distinctive, in keeping with the refined aesthetic of the 1941 Principia.
Housed in a 39.5 mm stainless steel case, the watch features the sculpted scalloped lugs that have become one of the most recognizable design signatures of the Grönefeld 1941 collection. Inside is the manufacture calibre G-06 automatic movement, admired by collectors for its architectural construction and high level of hand-finishing. Paired with a blue textured leather strap with contrast stitching, this watch offers a compelling combination of elegance, wearability, and independent watchmaking pedigree.
Offered as a full set and in new condition, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire one of the most attractive modern Grönefeld references in a particularly desirable dial configuration.
