Our Philosophy
We curate timepieces we personally believe in, we source globally from people or institutions we trust.
Our focus remains unwavering: condition, rarity, and collectibility across vintage, modern, and contemporary watchmaking.

We serve collectors seeking more than transactions.
Our Team of watch specialists and advisors share knowledge and passion.
We provide advisory on whether a timepiece belongs in your collection.
From first acquisitions to collection cornerstones, HORAMUNDI bridges aspiration with achievement.
Rémy Julia - Founder
Remy founded HORAMUNDI in the summer 2025 following over a decade in the auction world at Christie's Watch Department and a distinguished tenure at Vacheron Constantin. As Head of Watches for Christie's Middle East, India, Africa, and Russia, he established the UAE as an international auction center while curating landmark exhibitions including such as the Sandro Fratini show on his book launch My Time, the FERO Collection, Ali Nael's "My Dream Collection," Max Bernardini's "Universal Geneve a alternative to collect in modern time" and Patrick Getreide's Oak Collection exhibition -The largest exhibition of Patek Philippe watches every presented in the middle east-.
A passionate advocate for collectors education, Remy pioneered regular community lectures and partnerships with renowned scholars like Eric Tortella, whose annual Patek Philippe seminars in Dubai starting in 2015 became foundational events for regional and international collectors.
His vision of knowledge-first collecting has shaped the Middle East's horological landscape and reflects the quality to today's community.
Also in 2015, Remy started a decade partnership with Dubai Watch Week in partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons—now recognized as a major industry milestone, a new platform for the industry and watch collectors was born.
One memorable moment he remembers with emotions was the first visit of Jean Pierre Hagmann in 2016 and a turning point of the collectibility of his creations on the one hand, and the beginning of the wide recognition for indépendant watchmakers on the other hand.
His advisory services are sought by prominent global collectors, while his multilingual capabilities ensure seamless international relationships.
Remy is based in the UAE since the end of the 90's and is traveling to most major events and auction weeks around the world.
Bob Xue - Partner
Born in China and based in the Middle East for over 25 years, Bob Xue brings to Horamundi a rare combination of auction-house rigour, retail savoir-faire, and deep proximity to the world's most important collecting circles. Bob spent eight years at Christie's in Dubai, from 2017 to the summer of 2025, where he was part of the internationalization of the house's Dubai office and of its transformation from a room-auction presence into a global leader in online sales — a period during which Dubai held consecutive auction records. As a member of Christie's global leadership specialist team, he was closely involved in heavyweight bidding activity and in the acquisition of some of the most important watches to appear at auction over the last ten years. Alongside his auction career, Bob has curated multi-category collections spanning watches, contemporary art, jewellery, and gems for some of the most significant Asian and Southeast Asian families of collectors — work built on discretion, cultural fluency, and long-term trust.
A collector at heart, Bob holds a particular passion for gold Paul Newman Daytonas and Patek Philippe grand complications, and is recognized internationally as a leading expert on Richard Mille — a market in which he is considered a reference for both connoisseurship and value.
Before Christie's, Bob developed his career in the UAE's luxury landscape, holding roles in retail and business development at Vacheron Constantin, positions at Giorgio Armani and started as a front of house at one of the most prestigious hotels of the world: the Burj Al Arab — formative years that shaped his understanding of service, presentation, and the expectations of an ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
At Horamundi, Bob advises private clients on acquisitions, disposals, and collection strategy, with a particular focus on the bridge between the Middle East and Asia's great collecting dynasties.
Jack Ju - Watch Specialist
Jack joined Horamundi in the summer of 2025, following more than a decade with Vacheron Constantin in Dubai. As a member of the founding team of the region’s first Vacheron Constantin boutique, he became known for a standard of service defined by discretion, consistency, and a deep respect for the collector relationship.
His professional background spans both luxury retail and hospitality, shaping an approach centered on personal attention, measured guidance, and the kind of one-to-one client experience that remains at the heart of Horamundi. Jack’s interest in collectible watches was further sharpened after attending his first live auction at Christie’s Dubai in 2014, and has since evolved through sustained curiosity and close engagement with the market.
Fluent in Mandarin and English, Jack has been based in the UAE since 2006.
