Among the most intellectually compelling creations in modern independent watchmaking, the F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance stands apart for transforming a centuries-old horological principle into a practical wristwatch. By placing two balances in close proximity, François-Paul Journe created a system in which each oscillator stabilises the other, elevating chronometric performance through resonance while giving the watch its unmistakable twin-register display.
