1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Horamundi website and services. Horamundi operates as a specialist in haute horlogerie as a focus. We also offer gems, peals, accessories and works of art, providing private collectors’ advisory, authentication, curation, acquisition, and consignment services for investment-grade collectible items.
By accessing our website, engaging our services, or purchasing products through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
Horamundi is registered and operates from Silver Tower, DMCC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All transactions and disputes are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
2. DEFINITIONS
- “We,” “Us,” “Our,” “Horamundi”: Refers to Horamundi FZCO and its officers, employees, and authorized agents.
- “You,” “Your,” “Client,” “Customer”: Refers to the individual or entity accessing our website or engaging our services.
- “Services”: Includes authentication, advisory, curation, acquisition, consignment, and sale of timepieces.
- “Timepiece(s)”: Refers to watches, clocks, and related horological products.
- “Website”: Refers to horamundi.com and all associated digital platforms.
3. ELIGIBILITY & AGE RESTRICTION
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website or engage our services. By using our website, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited from registering as users, making purchases, or engaging in transactions on our platform.
4. SERVICES PROVIDED
4.1 Private Collectors’ Advisory
We provide discreet expertise for collectors of investment-grade timepieces, including:
- Authentication and provenance verification
- Collection curation and strategic advisory
- Market intelligence and valuation
- Acquisition sourcing (off-catalog rarities, diplomatic commissions, independent complications)
- Certification of gems through GIA, SSEF, or Gubelin labs.
4.2 Consignment Services
We partner with collectors, traders, auction platform and other specialists to evaluate, authenticate, and facilitate the sale of your object through our global network.
4.3 Sales & Acquisitions
Selected timepieces, pearls, gems, accessories or works of art are available for purchase through our website. All sales are subject to availability, pricing, and the terms outlined herein.
5. CONSIGNMENT TERMS
5.1 Consignment Agreement
Consignment services are governed by a separate written agreement between Horamundi and the consignor. The consignment agreement will specify:
- Commission rates
- Reserve prices (if applicable)
- Duration of consignment period
- Authentication and condition reporting procedures
- Payment terms upon sale
5.2 Ownership & Risk
Title to consigned items remains with the consignor until sale is completed and payment is received. Horamundi maintains comprehensive insurance coverage for consigned items while in our possession.
5.3 Authentication & Condition
All consigned timepieces, gems, accessories or artworks undergo thorough authentication and condition assessment by Horamundi team of specialists and external specialists when needed. We reserve the right to decline consignment of any timepiece, pearl, gem, accessories or works of art that does not meet our authentication standards.
5.4 Marketing & Representation
Horamundi may photograph, market, and represent consigned items through our website, social media, and partner networks. All marketing materials remain the intellectual property of Horamundi.
6. PRICING & PAYMENT
6.1 Pricing
- All prices are listed in USD, EUR, or AED unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Displayed prices are final and include applicable fees unless otherwise specified
- VAT and customs duties (where applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer
6.2 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank wire transfer (preferred for high-value transactions)
- Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Cryptocurrency (through Pallapay)
6.3 Payment Security
All credit card transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
6.4 Payment Confirmation
You will receive email confirmation of payment within 1-2 business days. Transaction records should be retained for your records.
7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
7.1 Shipping Methods
All timepieces are shipped via fully insured, trackable courier services of FERRARI LOGISTICS, our logistic partner also operating from the DMCC.
7.2 Shipping Costs
- UAE Domestic: Complimentary for orders above USD 5,000
- GCC Region: Complimentary for orders above USD 10,000
- International: Shipping costs calculated at checkout based on destination and value
7.3 Delivery Timeframes
- UAE: 1-2 business days after shipment
- GCC: 2-3 business days after shipment
- International: 3-7 business days after shipment (subject to customs clearance)
7.4 Customs & Import Duties
International buyers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees levied by their country. Horamundi is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
7.5 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery and signature confirmation.
8. AUTHENTICATION & CONDITION DISCLOSURE
8.1 Authentication Guarantee
Horamundi guarantees the authenticity of all items sold through our platform. Each timepiece undergoes rigorous authentication by certified specialists with decades of combined experience.
8.2 Condition Reports
Detailed condition reports are provided for all objects we offer, including:
For watches:
- Movement condition and service history
- Case and bracelet condition
- Originality of components
- Presence of box, papers, and accessories
For gems, pearls & Jewellery:
- Certificates and reports
- Invoices when available
- Detailed video and photo
For works of art:
- External expertise when available
- Provenance
- Anonymous Gallery or auction invoices
- Detailed photography reports
8.3 Vintage & Pre-Owned Timepieces
Vintage and pre-owned timepieces are sold “as described” in condition reports. Normal wear consistent with age is expected and does not constitute a defect.
9. RETURNS & REFUNDS
9.1 Return Window
Buyers may return timepieces within 7 calendar days of delivery, provided:
- The timepiece is returned in the exact condition received
- All original packaging, papers, and accessories are included
- The timepiece has not been worn, sized, or altered in any way
- Return request is initiated via email within the 7-day period
9.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following are non-returnable:
- Custom or bespoke timepieces
- Timepieces sold “as-is”
- Gift certificates and advisory services
9.3 Return Shipping
- Buyer’s Remorse: Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense and risk
- Defective/Misrepresented Items: Horamundi bears all return shipping costs if the timepiece is materially different from its description or is defective upon arrival
9.4 Refund Processing
Once the returned timepiece is received and inspected:
- Full refund (minus shipping costs, if applicable) will be processed within 10-14 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Deductions may apply if the timepiece is returned damaged or with missing components
9.5 Exchanges

10. WARRANTY & SERVICE
10.1 Mechanical Warranty
Horamundi provides a 12-month mechanical warranty on all timepieces sold, under a “normal wear and use” covering:
- Movement defects arising from normal use
- Factory servicing (if required due to mechanical failure)
10.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized servicing
- Normal wear and tear (straps, gaskets, crystals)
- Water damage (unless explicitly warranted as water-resistant)
- Cosmetic damage to case, dial, or bracelet
10.3 Service & Maintenance
Horamundi offers ongoing service and maintenance through our network of certified watchmakers. Service costs are provided upon request.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Horamundi website, including text, images, logos, photography, and design, is the intellectual property of Horamundi and is protected by international copyright laws.
You may not:
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy website content without written permission
- Use Horamundi branding or imagery for commercial purposes
- Scrape, data-mine, or automatically extract content from our website
12. PROHIBITED USES
You agree not to use our website or services to:
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or money laundering
- Violate any UAE, international, or local laws

18. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
18.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through:
- Mediation (preferred)
- Arbitration in Dubai under DIFC-LCIA rules (for high-value disputes)
- Litigation in the courts of Dubai (as a last resort)
19. OFAC & SANCTIONS COMPLIANCE
Horamundi complies with all UAE and international sanctions laws. We do not provide services or products to individuals or entities in OFAC-sanctioned countries or those appearing on sanctions lists.
By using our services, you represent that you are not located in, or acting on behalf of, any sanctioned jurisdiction or entity.
20. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
Horamundi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
21. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under UAE law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
22. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any consignment or sale agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Horamundi, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
